Our boneless rumps are taken from grass-fed lambs, reared in New Zealand.

The chump is at the rear of the animal, and we remove the bones, leaving a boneless rump wihch is a perfect portion size.

Each rump weighs a minimum 400g, and comes with a layer of fat across the top.

Tip: The fat is easily pulled away if you want to remove it - however we recommend leaving it on as it will baste the meat and help it stay moist and add flavour.

Lamb Rumps are delicious roasted and served one per person. They also make a great addition to a BBQ.

Supplied in a pack of 4 rumps, total pack weight minimum 1.6kg

Put into a freezer as soon as possible after delivery, and consume within 12 months or before best before date on packaging.

Defrost fully before cooking, best left in a fridge for 24 hours to defrost slowly. Once defrosted eat within 48 hours and do not refreeze.

Place fat side-down in a very hot, un-oiled pan until the fat begins to render and crisp.

Put in a hot oven for around 10 minutes until the meat is cooked pink, then leave to rest for 15 minutes.

The flavours from the fat will enhance the taste of the meat, although the fat can easily be removed before eating if you prefer.
